The Short Version
You can read everything on CampFiire without an account and without telling us who you are. The only personal information we ask for is an email address - and only if you choose to subscribe to The Bulletin. We do not sell personal data. Ever.
What We Collect
Newsletter: if you subscribe to The Bulletin, we store your email address so we can send you the Sunday email. That is the only thing we use it for.
Soccer Kickoff: your child's first name and level progress are stored locally in your own browser so the program remembers where you left off. They are not sent to our servers.
Contact: if you email us - say, to list a camp - we keep the correspondence so we can reply and follow up.
What We Never Do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not require accounts, profiles, or logins to read the Site.
Children
CampFiire is written for parents. Soccer Kickoff is designed for kids to use with a parent or guardian, and it deliberately keeps its data (a first name and progress) on your device rather than our servers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Unsubscribing and Deletion
Every Bulletin email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can email us at any time to have your address removed from our list entirely. Kickoff progress can be cleared by clearing your browser's site data.
Third-Party Links
When you click out to a camp's website, a ticket seller, or a podcast platform, their privacy policy applies - not ours. We encourage you to read it.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes to how we use newsletter emails will be announced in The Bulletin itself.
